Innovate UK is offering Travel Support of up to £750 to help UK companies attend Horizon Europe consortia-building events across Europe.
These events provide a valuable opportunity for innovators to build new collaborative partnerships, expand networks, and engage in international research and development projects. The funding aims to boost UK participation and visibility at these events, accelerating involvement in European research programmes.
Events:
- KETs (Key Enabling Technologies) 2026 EU Brokerage Event, 4-5 February 2026, Karlsruhe, Germany (Deadline to apply 22 December 2025, Applicant notification date: 30 December 2025)
- Euromaritime 2026 - Innovative, sustainable maritime industry trade fair, 3-5 February 2026, Marseille, France (Deadline to apply: 10 December 2025, Applicant notification date: 16 December 2025)
- Road Transport Research Conference, 10-12 February 2026, Brussels, Belgium (deadline to apply: 10 December 2025, Applicant notification date: 16 December 2025)
Eligibility:
- UK-based, for-profit SMEs performing R&D
- Must meet the EU SME definition (see details here)
Successful applicants will receive proactive support from Innovate UK to maximise the benefits of attending. Travel and accommodation costs will be covered in line with Innovate UK’s reasonable travel expenses policy (aligned with HMRC guidelines). A copy of this policy will be provided to successful applicants.
